School Suspensions and the Role of Implicit Bias

Preschoolers are suspended at high rates, and Black and Latino children are suspended at even higher rates. This is due in part to implicit bias on the part of teachers and other adults. We need to address implicit bias and find more positive ways to discipline young children.
