Preschool Suspensions: Racial Inequities In Disciplinary Practices

Preschoolers are suspended at three times the rate of older students, and Black and Latino children are suspended at even higher rates. This is due to implicit bias and a lack of understanding of child development. We need to find more positive ways to discipline young children.
